LUXURY HOTEL COMPLEX AND COMPLEXES FOR CONFERENCES AND THALASSOTHERAPY IN AGYIA AT PATRAS

Preliminary study 2000 i

Employer: Municipality of Patras

Architectural study: "ARSIS Architects" architectural team

The complex has been studied to offer, besides its general hotel service, a set of specialized tourist services, complementary to each other, so that the complex’s maximum possible return is achieved.

In particular, the complex includes a Luxury Hotel -that can host 316 individuals-, a Complex used for Conferences as well as a Thalassotherapy Complex. Apart from the hotel, those complementary complexes define two critical  operating factors, which concern the whole complex and are directly correlated with the natural beach of the provided space.

The complex is completed with the organization of the public seashore  in the southwest part of the beach and the landscaping of the non-constructed section of the plot.

The proposal aims to fulfill both the financial return of the investment and the residents’ requirement for seaside recreation in Patras.
