The proposal attempts to draw the attention to the membering of the ancient venture of the Argonaut Expedition. In parallel, modern Argo  Museum does not consistute a vague historical reference, but a rather specific political indication about the participation of “free rowers” in the fights for their society’s visions. During the study, the Museum’s shell is not conceived as a “building-object”, but as a “landscape formation”. This is achieved through the linking of extensive parts of the building to outdoor space as a bas-relief’s sculptural continuation, while planting is reinforced both on the outdoor space and on the terraces that are accessible for the public. The use of “smart” materials increases the shell’s environmental quality, as solar power is stored. Meanwhile, “smart” techniques, such as interactive screens and wall projections and simulations, which are embodied in the continuing route of the museum, aim to the visitor’s transformation from a passive to an active participant “rower-citizen”.
