This project refers to the study and supervision for the design completion of the building of the Bank of Greece, situated in a cornered plot on Ag. Andrea and Kolokotroni streets, in the central part of Patras. The study includes the redesign of the Bank’s interior spaces, without intervening to its external shell, while requiring the minimum possible interferences to the existing bearing structure.

From an operational point of view, the new building of Patra’s branch is crucial for the banking services and the monetary control of the whole Peloponnesus. This functional importance lies along with the building’s social prestige, which is based to the bank’s key economic role in the local life and to the more specified social activities that take place in this particular building, via the creation of a cultural-events hall in its upper floor.
