The main part of the study concerns a proposal for the redesign of the coastal zone, in parallel with the theme park’s design under the heading “Gods of Olympus”. This architectural proposal, based on the previous programming schedule, resulted to a design with epistemological features relative to greek mythology, which however does not verge on scenographic imitation (as, for instance, copying of classical antiquities) or to non-aesthetically elaborated constructions. Another aspect of the proposal is the design of an open space for natural planting formulations, through which walkways gradually lead to kiosks, each representing a different one of the twelve gods. Every kiosk matches an archaic deity’s feature, presented however in an absolutely contemporary architectural way, so that the designs of the kiosks are also an implementation of contemporary architectural synthesis, integrated to the qualities of landscape formulations.
