Oropos’ wetland lies in a surface of approximately 2.630 acres. It is one of the last remaining coastal wetlands in the area, as over the last decades many similar ecosystems have been destroyed. The landscape arrangements and constructions aim to the environmental protection and the development of environmental-educational activities.

The design options are summarized in the following way:

a) Reinforcement of the existing vegetation

b) Construction of kiosks to welcome and inform visitors

c) Organization of a path network for the improvement of accessibility and circulation of visitors, along with sitting areas and observatory posts.
